Post 16: Just a very short update

Tariffs and a postal workers strike delayed my plan to order compact MTB switch motors and thus wiring work, so I've been busy building benchwork instead, including a tricky but necessary lift-out section for access to the water meter and electrical panel. Another gap bridged!
Benchwork now extends almost all the way around the layout room, and I'm very happy to report that the sub-roadbed is progressing from Roswell to the north end of Springs Yard across that gap. I promise once that's done I will take some photos and post a more fulsome update on the progress.
Now back to work!
